The Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) in Gombe State says no fewer than 151 road accidents occurred in the state from September to December 2019.
The Gombe state Sector Commandant of the FRSC, Godwin Omiko confirmed that 38 people lost their lives while 397 sustained varying degrees of injury.
Omiko however warned motorists to drive with care to avoid accidents.
The commandant said the corps would continue to create awareness of how to avoid road accidents.
Omiko told community leaders, traditional leaders and religious leaders to help the body to sensitize their people to need to obey traffic rules.
