Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi has personally dismissed the report of his purported defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The report was almost given credence by a statement issued by member representing Ezza South/Ikwo federal constituency, Ebonyi state in the House of representatives, Hon. Chinedu Ogah.
The Reps member had in a statement made available to the media congratulated the governor for defecting to the All Progressives Congress(APC).
But reacting in a personal message to newsmen the governor said the news is not true.
Reacting to the story published earlier today, the governor reacted by sending, ‘Not True.’
