Nigerian Artiste, D’banj, who was accused of rape, has decided to sue his accuser, one Seyitan Babatayo, for N1.5 billion Naira for defamation of character.
D’banj requested the large sum through his lawyer, Mike Ozekhome Chambers.
The suit against Seyitan also demands “a letter of unreserved apology for the offensive tweets and posts”.
Just a week a ago, Seyitan through a post declared she wasn’t been arrested and detained by the police, but turned around in less than 24 hours later to say she had been forced to release that statement.
Seyitan tweeted that she just wants to put everything behind, but the star seems to be dragging this issue even longer.
With the accusations and witness, Seyitan’s friend, the case is far from over.
