Prince Abdulkadir Appointed As New Chief Of Staff To Kwara Governor

    Prince Mahee Abdulkadir, has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

    He will replace Alhaji Aminu Adisa Logun, the late Chief of Staff to the Governor, who died of COVID-19 few months ago.

    Prince Abdulkadir was a former Permanent Secretary in the Government House, Ilorin in 2003. Also a son of the late 10th Emir of Ilorin, Mallam Aliyu Abdulkadir.

    He served as the Kwara State House of Assembly Clerk from 2004 to 2007.

    Prince Abdulkadir is a close friend of the governor’s younger brother, Isiaka Abdulrazaq, also a former top staff of the old NEPA and NNPC.

    He is also a cousin to the incumbent Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, who is also a prince in the Ilorin Emirate.

    Sources in the know said the new Chief of Staff who received his appointment letter on Friday, is expected to commence duty immediately.
