The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP has announced the dissolution of the party executive in Ebonyi State.
Also dissolved is the South East Zonal Caretaker Committee of the party.
A statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan said the dissolution was part of decisions reached at a crucial NWC meeting held in
Abuja Tuesday.
The action which is not unconnected with the defection of Governor Dave Umahi to APC, also affected the ward, and local government executive committees of the party.
The statement said the decisions are pursuant to the powers conferred on the NWC by the PDP Constitution.
