The Indian Army killed a Pakistani terrorist who attempted infiltration in the Keran sector of Indian state Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces deployed at the border foiled the infiltration bid and one Mohd Shabbir Malik, a Pakistani national was shot.
The Pakistani national was equipped with modern weapons and ammunition, war-like stores. The area from where the terrorist had tried to enter in India was kept under strict surveillance by the Indian Army to effectively counter any movement by the infiltrators and the Pakistani Army.
The sources confirmed to The Daily Vendor Newspaper correspondent that an armed intruder’s movement was identified and he was moving from the Pakistan controlled to the Line of Control. The Indian army started ambushing and the infiltrator was killed. His body was recovered along with one AK-47 and a large quantity of ammunitions including hand grenades.
His Pakistani identity card and vaccination certificate issued by the Pakistani Government was recovered. `The Army sources confirmed that his belongings also included a photo of the intruder in an Army uniform wearing the name tag of Shabbir.
The above incident confirms that the neighbouring country Pakistan continues to sponsor cross-border terrorism. The Indian Army has asked Pakistani Army to takeback the dead body. It is also to be mentioned that a few days ago, a joint force of Kashmir police and the Indian Army had killed one terrorist in an encounter. He was also a Pakistani national. On that incident, one police officer and two army personnel were injured during the encounter.
Following the incident, security troops deployed at the Indian states Jammu and Kashmir have intensified patrolling and vigil along the Line of Control as always Pakistani terrorists attempt infiltration bids in winter when there is snow fall.
