One person has been reportedly killed while many persons were injured in a road accident that occurred on Saturday at the Oloko area in the Akoko North – East Local Government Area of Ondo State .
According to an eyewitness , the accident involved a Toyota Primera car with registration number ANG 35 BV car and a motorcyclist .
It was gathered that the driver of the car lost control due to brakes failure and allegedly hit the motorcycle rider who was coming from the opposite direction , killing the rider and injuring some persons in the process .
The spokesperson for the state sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Tola Ogunbanwo, confirmed the incident .
Ogunbanwo said the injured victims were rushed to the General Hospital Ikare Akoko and the remains of the deceased had been deposited at the morgue of the hospital .
