One Die, 3 Injure As Car Hits Officials Of FRSC In Osun

An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, whose name could not be ascertained, has reportedly died in a road accident in Osun state, Thursday.

It was gathered that the accident involved a White Nissan Primera car with registration number AE 365 GBK and a Toyota Hilux with registration number AO1585RS, belonging to the FRSC.

The accident occurred at Ipetu-Ijesa, a town in Oriade local government of Osun state.

It was learnt that four officials of the FRSC were involved and seriously injured.

The accident, according to investigation, occurred around 1pm at Power line, after Rain Oil filling station, Ipetu-Ijesa.

The Sector Commander, FRSC, Kudirat Ibrahim, confirmed the accident, though she kept silence on the death of their staff.

According to the sector commander, the injured FRSC staffs have been taken to Wesley hospital, Ilesa and Olujobi hospital, Ipetu-Ijesa.

She said the driver of the car lost control and hit the officials at their checkpoint.
