Former Nigeria President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday hosted the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The PDP chairman and some other leaders of the party arrived at the penthouse of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta at about few minutes past noon. They immediately went into a private meeting with Chief Obasanjo.
The visit is coming after some leaders of the party called for the removal of the party chairman.
There were protests at the National Secretariat of the PDP in Abuja last week where some party members asked Mr Secondus to resign. But the party chairman however, said he had no plans to step down.
