Vice Presidential Candidate of People’s Democratic Party, in the last elections, His Excellency Mr Peter obi, has congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof Charles Esimone who recently celebrated successful first year in office.
Obi described Esimone as a profound academician and seasoned administrator who had the requisite experience to move the institution to greater heights.
The former governor of Anambra state noted that Esimone’s first year in office had been decorated with commendable achievements.
“It is my humble wish to felicitate with you, dear Prof. Charles Esimone, as you mark your first year in office as the 6th substantive Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
“I have no doubt in your ability to take the institution to enviable heights. Your achievements in your first year in office speak volume of the good news that lie ahead”, he said.
He further encouraged the Vice-Chancellor to continue to serve God and humanity through his office.
