NULGE hails Soludo, APGA over peaceful elections, new leadership

The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Anambra State Chapter has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo over recent peaceful conduct of the elections of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) both at the national and state levels.

The State President, Comrade Chikweli Adigwe in a statement by State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Nnamdi Nweke also congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the party, Barr. Sylvester  Ezeokenwa and the new State Chairman, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye (Igiligi Ogidi), on their emergence as the leaders of the party in the next four years.

The Union described the election as a welcome development, noting that it identified with the party leadership efforts to take the party to greater heights in line with its mission.

The statement reads, “The entire State Executive Council of NULGE  Anambra State Chapter, heartily congratulate and rejoice with the newly elected National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sylvester  Ezeokenwa and the new State Chairman of APGA, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye (Igiligi Ogidi), on their recent peaceful election and emergence as the leaders of the party in the next four years.

“Indeed, your election as the new party leaders of APGA is a welcome development and the Union identifies with your efforts in line with the mission of the All Progressive Grand Alliance to take Anambra State to greater heights.

“We equally want to express our gratitude to the workers friendly governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo for the peaceful and transparent APGA congresses in the State as well as his result oriented leadership style and transformation agenda in the State since assumption of office.

“May the good Lord continue to give you the wisdom, knowledge and strength to serve both the party and the State better.”
