The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has recorded 490 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country bringing it to a total of 17,148 cases.
A total of 490 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), 142 of the new cases were recorded in Lagos, 60 in FCT, 54 in Bayelsa, 39 in Rivers, 37 in Delta, 30 in Oyo, 26 in Kaduna, 23 in Imo, 19 in Enugu, 17 in Kwara, 11 in Gombe, 10 in Ondo, 8 in Bauchi, 7 in Ogun, 6 in Borno, and 1 in Benue State.
In total, Nigeria has now recorded 17,148 cases of COVID-19. 5,623 patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the country, while 455 deaths have been recorded.
