LANDIKOTAL: Police foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics from Landikotal to Peshawar and arrested two piddlers, officials said on Thursday.
Station House Officer(SHO) Landikotal Amjad Khan Afridi said that taking action on a tip off they constituted police teams and raided a godown in Landikotal bazaar. He said they recovered 12kg Hashish(Chars) and 2400gm Ice drugs from the godown.Two persons identified as Najeeb and Haroon were arrested.
According to the arrested persons they had brought the seized narcotics from Afghanistan and being smuggled to Peshawar.
Police registered case and started investigation.
