The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, has said millions of Nigerians are waiting to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), because of the good governance the party has brought to bear in Nigeria in the past five years.
Ganduje, who made the statement on Sunday while flagging off the registration and revalidation exercise in the state, insisted that Nigerians have been keenly observing the performances of the party in the last five years and are convinced that the APC is the only party that will salvage the nation’s misfortunes and make it great again.
The governor who revalidated his membership of the party at the Ganduje Cikin-Gari ward in Dawakin Tofa local government area of the state, added that the party has opened its windows for all Nigerians to join it and with millions of Nigerians queuing up to register, the chances of the party in the 2023 general elections are very bright.
“The last time the exercise took place was in 2014 and since then, we have a few people that left the party, and we have so many more that have joined the party.
“The exercise is important as the party is growing due to performance across the country. Millions of Nigerians are waiting to join the APC because they have seen the good performances of the party at the federal and state levels.
“I appeal to all stakeholders and party officials to conduct the exercise with all sincerity and in accordance with the guidelines issued by the national headquarters of the party,” Ganduje said.
