For stealing a plate of tuwo and N10 sachet water, an Abuja based Magistrate, has sentenced a thirty year old Yusuf Muazu.
Muazu, a native of Kano, was made to sweep the court premises for three hours and ordered to relocate to where he could secure a source of living.
The victim was dragged to the court by the police following his arrest at Life Camp, Abuja, for stealing a plate of Tuwo with Okro soup.
Muazu who admitted to committing the act blamed hunger, he pleaded for mercy and was handed a lenient sentence.
