In November 2019, a gang-rape encounter in one of the Indian state Hyderabad caused an uproar across the country. The shadow of that incident was seen again in Telangana.
According to The Daily Vendor Newspaper correspondent in India, Telangana is the 29th state of India, formed on the 2nd of June 2014. Telangana is a state in southern India.
Last Thursday, a 30-year-old neighbor raped and killed a 6-year-old child in Hyderabad. The accused has absconded since the incident.
In the wake of the incident, Telangana Labor Minister Reddy said, “The accused will be confronted. We will arrest him as soon as we catch him. We are on the side of the victim’s family. We have sympathy for them. We will encounter and kill the accused.”
Note that the Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramesh said the child had been missing since last Thursday morning. Her family filed a diary at the police station. The girl was not found even after a police search. The body of the child was finally found at the accused’s house on Friday morning. After that there was unrest in the area.
Villagers have been protesting in various places demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
The administration then assured that the accused would be arrested as soon as possible. Police have been searching for the accused since Friday. Hyderabad police have already announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for finding the accused. But he has not been found yet. Police are also investigating whether he is in the state or has fled to another state. The police have registered a case of kidnap, rape and murder and taken up investigation”
