India has set a record for Covid vaccination on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. That is the demand of the central government. But as time goes on, questions are being raised about this claim.
Allegedly, the center has also vaccinated the dead and certificates have been issued in their names. It was also alleged that without taking the vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccination), many people received the certificates.
The Daily Vendor Newspaper correspondent in India gathered that complaints are coming from different parts of the BJP-ruled state of Madhya Pradesh.
September 18th was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. On the same day, India averaged a record number of corona vaccinations. The central government claims that 2.5 crore vaccines have been given in one day. Of these, 26 lakh vaccinations were given in one day in Indian state Madhya Pradesh but gradually multiple complaints are coming up from the state.
Ashutosh Sharma, a resident of Agar Malwa district, 200 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, received a message on his mobile at around 6am on September 18. Where it is said, one lady named Vidya Sharma was vaccinated on that day and she was the mother of one Ashutosh and Vidya Sharma had died four months ago.
Ashustosh has shown his mother Vidya Devi’s death certificate. Ashustosh has received a message that his mother Vidya Devi had been vaccinated. In Ashutosh’s words, “My mother died in Corona four months ago. It is understood that increasing the number of vaccinations, pressure was given on government workers.”
One Pinky Burma, a resident of Agar area, was scheduled to take the second dose of the vaccine on September 6 but due to her sickness, she could not get vaccinated.
Even then, on September 18, the vaccination certificate came on her phone.
Certificates have even been issued in the name of a 13-year-old child too. Multiple such allegations have come to light from many areas of Madhya Pradesh. As a result of this, the local administration has faced widespread criticism.
Incidentally, the Center had long planned to set a vaccination record on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Similar instructions were given at various levels of administration.
The RJD leader, Tejashwi Yadav had also complained that vaccination has been relatively low in the last few days to reach the target set on Friday. Despite the Centre’s claim that India was able to vaccinate 2.5 crore people on Friday, breaking China’s record due to the overall efforts of health workers across the country. One of the Government administration authority of Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh said that “when a man thinks that he is bigger than one political party or even bigger than the country, this kind of corruption happens”
