Liverpool legend, Robbie Fowler has warned Graham Potter of certain Chelsea players that have the power to get managers sacked.
Chelsea shocked the football world last week when they announced that their German boss, Thomas Tuchel has been sacked.
The decision followed their defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in their first game of this season’s Champions League, and Potter was announced 24 hours later as his replacement.
Chelsea have also struggled in the Premier League and find themselves sixth following embarrassing defeats to Leeds and Southampton.
Fowler who feels that Potter has a huge job to do, said: “The dressing room looks a mess. Maybe that’s Tuchel’s fault, maybe not. There are a lot of big egos in there, and some of them seem to be butting up against each other.
“I didn’t like the body language of that free-kick exchange between Reece James and Hakim Ziyech, which spoke volumes on the issues Potter will be inheriting. I’ve already heard questions about whether he’ll be able to handle those big egos, and win over players who seem to have the power at that club to get managers sacked.”
