Lawyer to the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi has issued 24 hours ultimatum to release his client or face litigation.
Addressing journalists, leader of the legal team, AB Mahmoud (SAN) described the arrest and banishment of Sanusi as illegal and unlawful.
Mahmoud said the legal team has written to Inspector General of Police and Director of Security Service to ensure immediate release of the emir or face legal action.
