Sen Shehu Sani has reacted to Atiku Abubakar’s claim that he may have to use foreign health facilities.
Atiku, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had said on a national television station that he may not rely entirely on Nigerian hospitals for personal healthcare if elected president in the forthcoming presidential election.
He said, “Health facilities that cater to my health may not be available. We have limitations; we know we have those limitations.”
However, Sen Sani has come out to say it was better the PDP presidential candidate did not toe the path of campaign deception.
He said “Rather than lie that when he wins he will restrict himself to Nigerian hospital, it’s better that Atiku refused to toe that path of campaign deception.”
Many Nigerian leaders are reputed for seeking medical treatment abroad due to neglect of health sector in the country.
