Insecurity: Nasarawa government gives Fulani Herdsmen 7days ultimatum

Nasarawa state government has handed a seven days ultimatun to marauding Fulani herdsmen to leave the state or meet the full wrath of the law.

Arising from a well attended security meeting with traditional rulers and security heads in Lafia, Governor Abdullahi Sule on Saturday warned that his administration could no longer tolerate the excesses of the armed herdsmen.

The government position was supported by the traditional rulers who spoke through the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Baje, who ordered the Fulani to leave the state for good within seven days.

It could be recalled that three persons including the niece of the former minister of information, Hon Labaran Maku and a police officer were killed at Gudi, the home town of Gov Sule last Wednesday.
