Indian State West Bengal’s state government took bigger steps for the welfare of the backward classes. The budget for the Scheduled Caste has been increased. 

The Daily Vendor Newspaper can report that the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon. 

Reservation for them in the workplace also increased. From now on, 22 percent is reserved for the backward community. 

On the same day, the first meeting of the newly formed Scheduled Caste Development Council was held in the state. 

The Chief Minister discussed all the members. These decisions have been taken there. Besides, Mamata Banerjee has mentioned several other important decisions in the development of the Scheduled Castes. 

In the last assembly elections of West Bengal, Mamta Banerjee led e Trinamool Congress party headed for a landslide victory. After the assembly elections, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that West Bengal has “saved” India with its mandate. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic was her priority, she had her party leaders not to organize any victory rally.
