Thousands of Imo State traders turned out in droves in a Solidarity March at the Imo State Government House Owerri today Thursday 10th of December 2020 to thank the Imo State Governor Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodinma for bringing peace and change to the Markets in Imo State.
They were welcomed at the Imo State Government House by His Excellency Distinguished Sen. Hope Uzodinma duly represented by the Imo State Chief of Staff Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie who thanked the ISAMATA for their show of support for the Governor Hope Uzodinma led Government. He reiterated the Governor’s Commitment in bringing on change like never before seen in the state.
He added that the people of Imo State should brace themselves for the Magnitude of development that the Governor is about to bring to the state as the projects his excellency has Completed in his short time in office is only a tip of the iceberg.
The Imo State Amalgamated Markets and Traders Association (ISAMATA) President Hon. Ezeanochie Emmanuel showered the Government with praises for the ongoing road construction projects in the State. According to him, a better road network would ease the suffering of traders as it would enable them conduct business with less hassle. In conclusion he pledged the association’s unending loyalty and support for the government of the day.
