The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra has protested the Jan. 14 Supreme Court ruling on Imo governorship election which sacked Emeka Ihedioha and declared Sen. Hope Uzodimma as the governor of the state.
It would be recalled that the Supreme Court sacked Ihedioha of the PDP and declared Uzodimma of the All Progressive Congress (APC) winner of the Feb. 23, 2019 election in Imo state.
The PDP led by its state chairman, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, mobilised from Udoka Estate office of the party before marching to the Federal High Court complex and the State High Court in Awka.
Addressing the mammoth crowd made up of party members and others, Nwobu described the ruling on Imo election as travesty of justice and a bad precedence for the judiciary as the last hope of common man.
