There are multiple benefits for a region and Constituency that produces the Speaker of the House of Representatives as the duo of Speaker and Senate President lead Nigerian Legislature.
It’s a known fact that since return of Democracy in 1999, South East haven’t had the opportunity to occupy the prestigious position. As a Speaker, Idemili North and South will be the center point for government projects with special attention paid to constituents.
In Nigeria, a Speaker must be a ranking member of the House not for Freshers without Legislative experience. Hon. Obinna Chidoka has in himself, more than the requirements to lead the House as a Speaker. He is intelligent, legislatively active, a ranking member and zonally positioned to be favoured as next Speaker or Member of the House of Representatives Leadership.
