ICT Champions: Soludo Committed To Preparing Anambra Children For International Competitiveness

The Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, has reiterated commitment of Governor Chukwuma Soludo-led administration towards organising programs in the education sector that would continued to prepare Anambra children for international competitiveness.

The Commissioner was reacting to the  championship won by students of St John Vianney Science College, Igbariam.

The students Immaculate Ebube Ikegwuonu, Camillus Anyadike and Nonso Oluchi emerged victorious in the recently concluded National Girls in ICT competition organized by Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy.

A letter from the Principal of the school, Ms Uzoamaka Okpalugo, communicating the feat to Madam Commissioner Chuma-Udeh read in parts, “……..our students innovative project, M-Tag VR ganered widespread acclaim and secured the top position. 

This project showcases groundbreaking virtual reality experience that allows the users explore iconic landmarks such as Zuma Rock.”

While congratulating the State torch bearers, Chuma-Udeh promised that Governor Soludo remained unshakable in his resolve to provide qualitative education that would continue to make Anambra State children excel.
