‘The attacker entered through the hospital roof and window’
Medical equipment worth millions of Naira have reportedly been carted away by hoodlums following an attack on Ileri Oluwa House of Hope Hospital in Ondo State on Sunday.
The state Police Command on Wednesday said it had commenced investigation into the alleged attack on the facility in Ondo Town.
The founder of the House of Hope, Hakeem Oyeneyin, said the incident happened on Sunday night, describing it as disheartening.
He explained that the attacker entered through the hospital roof and window. He noted that the facility will be shut down pending the time the community will assure 100 per cent safety of lives and properties.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command had commenced investigation into the incident.
“It was a case of burglary and we have commenced investigation into it,” the PPRO said.
