An Indian State Home Minister, Nishith Pramanik has been accused of cheating, obtaining by trick in the name of securing a government job.
Pramanik is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP ) which is one of the major political parties in India and also it is the current ruling political party of the Republic of India, since 2014.
The BJP is a right-wing party, and its policy has historically reflected Hindu nationalist positions.
The Daily Vendor Newspaper correspondent said the State Home Minister Nishith Pramanik was accused of cheating in the name of helping to secure a government job.
It was also gathered that Firdaus Islam, a resident of Gosanimari, Dinhata, North Bengal made an explosive allegations that bombs were planted on his orders before the last assembly election held at Indian State West Bengal where BJP had lost positions.
It was learnt that a written complaint has been lodged against Nishith Pramanik at a Police Station at North Bengal. In the complaint, Islam, alleged that he used to work with Nisith Pramanik before the last assembly elections. At that time, Pramanik promised to provide him a government job. In return, he took the first One lakh Indian Rupees and later another Twenty Five thousand Indian Rupees.
The Daily Vendor learnt that Islam arranged the monies given to Pramanik by selling off his cattle and land, but till today, Pramanik did not fulfill his promise. On the contrary, because of Nishith Pramanik, Islam was about to die.
He alleged that at one time, police searched a local factory and found many local made bombs, bomb-making equipment’s and raw materials. At that time, Pramanik asked Islam to remove those bombs and bomb-making materials with an honest job promise.
While removing the bombs, it exploded and Islam was seriously injured. He had to stay in Intensive Care Unit of a hospital for a week.
Islam’s father had to sell his shop to pay for his son’s treatment.
The dream of a government job has practically put their families on the streets. And that is why Islam has vented his anger. He said, “Not only me, Nishith Pramanik has collected money from many people in this way. They may not have the urge to return. But I have. I don’t want the job anymore. If I get that money back, at least I can run my family.
The West Bengal’s ruling political party Trinomial Congress Led by Mrs Mamta Banerjee has strongly condemned the whole incident. They saisd that Former ruling party MLA Udayan Guha said, “The person who committed such an act is the state minister of the Union Home Department today. Which is a matter of great shame. The police should investigate this crime strongly.
