A hit and run driver on Tuesday crushed to death a middle-aged woman Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra state.
The incident occurred opposite Toronto hospital at the Upper Iweka area of the town.
The driver immediately after knocking down the deceased, zoomed off while passers-by took her to the hospital where she was confirmed dead by the doctor.
Confirming the incident, the Ag. Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps ( FRSC), Kamal Musa, said, “Hit and run driver killed a female adult opposite Toronto hospital, Onitsha, this morning, November 24, 2020.
“Details in due course.”
