A businessman, Abdullahi Kalos, has been kidnapped at Minjibir town, Minjibir local government area of Kano state.
However, before his kidnap, the criminals were engaged in a fierce shootout with the police.
Sadly, the police lost out as they were overpowered and the businessman was successfully kidnapped.
According to Tasi’u Dadin-Duniya, spokesperson of Minjibir local government council, the gunmen stormed the town around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, Premium Times reports.
Meanwhile, coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, has stated that soldiers have killed 92 Boko Haram members in the past week.
