It regretted what it termed total collapse of governance under the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), calling on people of the state to be patient with the party to put an end to the ugly trend.
Addressing reporters shortly after a meeting of party’s stakeholders, spokesperson of Sen. Andy Uba’s campaign organization, Chibuzo Obiakor also frowned at the negative campaigns targeted at smearing the image of the party’s candidate.
He said, “The entire leadership of the party led by Basil Ejidike expressed his joy over the massive turnout of members to the meeting.
“The party resolved to unanimously support and queue behind the gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Andy Uba and his deputy, Bar. Emeka Okafor to ensure total victory for the party in the November 6 election.
“APC observed the total collapse of governance under the watch of APGA in the state, a follow up to the failed governorship of PDP earlier.
“We urge the good people of Anambra state to be patient as APC is going to put the state in good shape when elected.
“The meeting condemned all the negative campaigns being peddled by the opposition to smear the good and quality image of our candidate.
“The party in her democratic attitude urged members to actively mobilize the people of the state in their polling units and wards to key in her operation win your polling unit and door-to-door campaign strategy of the Sen. Andy campaign organization.”
