Gov. Abdullahi Sule Commissions Project to mark Democracy Day

The Governor of Nasarawa State Engr Abdullahi Sule celebrated this year June 12 Democracy Day with commissioning of two important state of the arts projects in Lafia, the state capital as part of activities to mark this historic day and named one of the project after the late PDP Governor Aliyu Akwai Idoma thereby jettisoning political differences.

The completed projects are presidential lodge and banquet hall
which was initiated initiated by two previous administrations in the state.

The Governor who took time to explain the quality of work done by the contractor that handled the project, named the edifice the Senator Umaru Tanko Al-makura Presidential Lodge, after the immediate past governor of the state who initiated the project.

Similarly, the modern state-of-the-art banquet hall also located within the Government House, named after the former governor of the state, the late Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, who initiated the project in 2011.

The Governor who promised to ensure that all the people of the state are carried along in his administration despite political differences said politics is about bringing development to the people.
