Global African Network with Care And Hope Foundation Headquarters Launched In Anambra 

The Belgian Country Representative of the Global African Network has collaborated with the President, Care And Hope Foundation, Hon. Ikenna Azum-Chinne to perform the official launching of their Organization in Umuonoli village in Ezeoye, Nibo in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Global African Network is a Nongovernmental Organization established immediately after the 2023 General Election to alleviate the level of suffering of the poor and less privilege across various countries in Africa, especially Nigeria.

Speaking during the launch, President, Care And Hope Foundation and Convener European Union Frontier for Mr. Peter Obi at the 2023 Presidential Election, Hon. Ikenna Azum-Chinne said the project was targeted at bringing succour to the people of the Area and in a conscious efforts to foster Public Private Community Partnernership (PPCP).

He expressed joy and satisfaction with the program noting his decision to embark on the project as to ameliorate the hardship of his people to access quality health care service and other basic amenities.

Highlighting that the project transcends beyond political motives, Hon. Ikenna maintained that the Organization is here to stay and will focus primary on providing basic healthcare support and vital social needs of the community.

He further noted his determination to give a new face to the community through persistent and committed renewal programs such as empowerment, care for the elderly and the indigent as well as similar landmark projects, which will enhance human capital development, pave way for enhanced connectivity and prosperity in the community.

Also speaking, the Belgium Country Representative of Global African Network, Mrs. Birgit Anna while expressing her delight to be in Nigeria to witness the official launching of the project stated that she is overwhelmed with joy for the show of love from members of the community and noted that though there is her first time of coming to Nigeria but surely not her last.

She described adequate and efficient health care services as critical to bringing meaningful development to any society, as according to her, a healthy nation is a wealthy nation. She reaffirmed continous support and assistance to vulnerable communities in Africa especially those in the Southeastern region of Nigeria on critical basic human sectors to elevate the living standard of the people.

For the Community Leader, Comrade Chinwendu Nwogbo represented by Mr. Emeka Nwankwo, Hon. Ikenna and his foreign counterpart has extended the highest degree of human kindness  with the exercise and called for more grassroots support and assistance in the provision of social amenities to vulnerable members of communities, noting that such act of charity will go a long way to cushion the effect of the hardship faced by people in both medical and social aspects.

Contributing, Project Manager, Engr. Chigbo Ubalo while describing the project as a display of genuine commitment by Hon. Ikenna to the welfare of his people expressed his satisfaction with the program, noting that the project will go a long way to impact thousands of households, especially the youths and the aged members of the community, . He assured professional conduct, quality construction and timely delivery of the project. 

In their separate interviews, some members of the community who are close relation to the benefactor, Mr. Nnamdi Chinne, Mrs. Ngozi Nwude, and Mrs. Virginia Eze, amidst cheers of joy, heived a sign of relief, noting that that Hon. Ikenna Azum-Chinne has once again risen to the occasion of proving himself as a selfless, true patriot and worthy son of Nibo. They thanked him for the special eye care service and took turns to pray for God’s protection and longevity upon him and his European associates.

Special eye checkup, distribution of over one hundred high quality medical glasses and individual dance display by some of the women of the community climaxed the event.
