FRSC partners Army on improved security on Anambra highways

The Nigerian Army on Tuesday said it was prepared to partner with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra State towards the safety of lives and property of the citizens of the state especially on the highways.

Commanding Officer 14 Field Engineer Regiment Nigerian Army Onitsha, Anambra State, Lieutenant Colonel Aondoaseel Adeke stated this on Tuesday during a visit to the state Sector Commander, FRSC, CC Andrew Kumapayi.

Adeke said the purpose of his visit was to familiarize himself with the FRSC formation in the State and seek areas of synergy between the two agencies.

He stressed that teamwork between both agencies would help improve security and safety of lives and property in the State.

Responding, the Sector Commander, CC Andrew Kumapayi appreciated the Commanding Officer for the visit, assuring him of the Commands’ continual improvement of the healthy and cordial working relationship with the Nigerian Army.

“We’ll work in synergy to ensure safety of lives and property of the people of the state especially on the highways,” he stated.
