FRSC names multi purpose hall after Chidoka

Federal Road Safety Commission(FRSC) has named the multi-purpose hall of her academy at Udi, Enugu State after the former Corps Marshall, Chief Osita Chidoka.

Eminent personalities and all former Corps Marshalls graced the occasion.

The Academy which actually started during Chief Chidoka’s tenure as the Corps Marshall has grown rapidly and has commenced the Senior Course 1 of the FRSC Command and Staff College.

The NUC has also approved the commencement of the Post Graduate training in conjunction with the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. The first agreement with FUTO was signed during the time of the former Aviation Minister as FRSC Corps Marshall.

Chief Chidoka in a brief speech at the occasion commended all his successors for keeping the flag of FRSC flying.

The former Minister of Aviation said that he was happy that all the past Corps Marshals were present the ceremony which according to him is a demonstration of the continued tradition of cordial relationship amongst past leaders of the corps.

He noted that it was a thing of joy that most of the programs and projects initiated under his watch as the Corps Marshall of FRSC are being vigorously pursued by his successors.

Ike Obosi also commended President Muhamadu Buhari and the Corps for their commitment to completing ongoing projects started by the past government.

“I also commended the President for speaking up for Road Safety during his 1st October speech. Thank you, Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi, for carrying the banner of competent and innovative leadership tradition aloft.” Chief Chidoka concluded.
