FRSC commences “operation show your drivers license” in Anambra

…says the special enforcement tagged: “Operation show your drivers license” will commence 4th April, 2023. 

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra State said it would commence drivers license enforcement in the state.

Sector Commander, Corps Commander Adeoye Irelewuyi disclosed this while receiving newly appointed State Comptroller of Immigration, CIS Edirin Endurance Okoto.

He said the exercise tagged: “Operation show your driver’s license would commence from 4th April, 2023. 

He pledged to maintain good synergy with the State Immigration Services, urging the NIS boss to advise his men to adhere to safety rules and regulations on the road. 

He said, “The Command is embarking on a special enforcement tagged: “Operation show your drivers license” beginning from 4th April, 2023. 

“Every driver is expected to be in possession of their permanent or temporary drivers license as photocopies or written notes will not be acceptable.

“Drivers yet to collect their license should go to Board of Internal Revenue to get it. Drivers with expired drivers license should also renew it.”

Earlier, Comptroller Okoto said his visit to FRSC followed his new appointment as Comptroller of Immigration in the State. 

He said he was looking forward to collaborate with FRSC, pledging assistance in areas his help was needed.
