Suspected kidnappers allegedly abducted the nephew of the former emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
It could be recalled last week that Yaya Baba as he is popularly called was kidnapped while he was traveling from Abuja to Kano along the Abuja-Kaduna highway.
Sources close to the family also told the newspaper that the kidnappers has contacted the family for a ransom but refused to state the amount.
The family has sourced the requested amount and when the person assigned to deliver the money to the kidnappers set out to meet them, he lost contact with them completely. Till this moment, they have not communicated with the family.
