Flood Victims: Tajikistan Sends 81-Truckload of Relief Goods to Pakistan 

TORKHAM BORDER: To stand by with Pakistan in the hard times, Tajikistan has sent 81 truckloads of relief goods for flood victims in Pakistan, officials said on Thursday.

 Custom official at Torkham Amanat Khan said that a convoy of vehicles containing relief goods from  Tajikistan capital Dushanbe on Thursday entered Afghanistan through Sher Khan border.He said in the coming three days all the trucks containing relief goods would enter Pakistan viaTorkham border crossing. 

He said customs officials at Torkham border would receive the relief goods and will handed over to National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) officials.He said the relief goods include blankets, different foods add tent are included.

Deputy collector customs Amanat said customs appraisement authorities have formed a special team at Peshawar and Torkham border to formally collect the relief goods at Torkham border crossing.
