The Treasury House which is the office of the Accountant General of the Federation in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja got burnt.
THE DAILY VENDOR gathered that the fire started from around the third floor, before connecting to other apartments.
The fire which started around 2:30pm was seen razing the building upwards including the Accountant General’s office and most of the important offices.
Also, Firefighters who earlier reported to the rescue mission was helpless as they complained that they didn’t come with equipment that could reach the top floors where fire is raging.
Our correspondent who visited the scene said sympathizers where seen lurking around the area in the hope of seeking measures to curtail the fire outbreak.
A source who simply identified himself as Musa told our correspondent that he suspects a foul play as nothing serious could be the cause of the fire
