EPL: Everton manager tells Iwobi what he needs to do to become a complete player

‘Iwobi is expected to be in action when Everton host Manchester United at the Goodison Park on Sunday night’

Everton manager, Frank Lampard has highlighted the areas Alex Iwobi needs to work on to make him a complete player.

The Nigeria international has earned huge plaudits for his impressive displays for the Toffees this season.

Lampard has moved Iwobi to central midfield position this season and the former Arsenal player has rewarded his boss with four assists in eight league appearances.

The 26-year-old has played every minute of Everton’s eight Premier League games this term, making him a central figure in the side.

Despite Iwobi’s superlative performances, Lampard believes he can continue to improve.

“Can he add more to his game? Yes. In and around the final third he can do more because his talent says so. In-game he can do more, he can assist more, maybe score himself a bit more, but I’m not complaining there, he’s been fantastic for us,” Lampard said.

Iwobi is expected to be in action when Everton host Manchester United at the Goodison Park on Sunday night.
