Enugu Police reveals how woman used hot iron, nail to burn, puncture maid’s head

Enugu State Police command releases disturbing pictures showing a ten years old girl who was said to have been brutalized by her relative and guardian.

The DAILY VENDOR gathered that the ten years old girl, identified simply as Nneoma Nnadi is a house help (maid) to one Ifeoma Ozougwu who resides at Akonameze Street, Thinker’s Corner, Enugu State.

It was learnt that trouble started around midnight on the fateful day, when the minor slept off while caring for her aunt’s baby.

According to sources, the baby fell off her hands, and the cry drew the attention of the mother who was said to be fast asleep.

The source said, though the baby sustained no confirmed physical or internal injury, the incident angered Ifeoma who then subjected the minor to inhuman treatments.

The angry Ifeoma went on to heat up a pressing iron and used same to mark and inflict serious bodily injuries on the little girl.

The minor was however said to be sluggish in doing the dishes which earned her another round of punishment.

The woman allegedly subjected the little girl to several strokes of the cane, after which she allegedly inserted grinded fresh pepper on the little girl’s private part.

The source said she subsequently locked the little girl in a toilet, an act which drew the attention of neighbours.
