Few days after harmattan fire destroyed Community Primary School Ubahu in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State another school in the state has been hit by fire.
It was reported that Girls High School Nenwe in Awgu Local Government Area was gutted by fire Wednesday eventing.
Lockers and writing desks were burnt in the inferno just as student’s text and exercise books.
The fire disaster is believed to have been caused by hunters who set nearby bushes on fire in their quest for bush meat.
The community has appealed to the state government for immediate assistance.
