The traditional ruler of Ugboha, in Esan South-East Local Government ayrea of Edo state, His Royal Highness Steven Ukato Odijie, has assured Governor Godwin Obaseki of unwavering backing by the people of Esan land, noting that the governor’s performance across the state will pave way for his victory.
The monarch further called for a violent-free campaigns and election in Edo.
He said: “This is campaign period, I urge all those contesting the election to ensure they do so in peace and ensure there is no violence on election day.”
Governor Obaseki, while addressing indigenes, expressed appreciation to the people for their support, promising to bring more developmental projects to the community if re-elected.
