The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Nigeria has admitted it made a mistake in the discharge certificate of Governor Godwin Obaseki if Edo State.
Subsequently the scheme has issued another certified to the governor.
The NYSC certificate is one of the credentials aside from his Higher School Certificate (HSC) certificate that the APC used in disqualifying the governor from his second terms bid.
The DAILY VENDOR News sighted a letter dated 19th June 2020 addressed to the governor and signed by Mrs Okonofua E.N for the Director General accepted the responsibility of making the mistake and has corrected same in the new certificate.
It will be recalled also that University of Ibadan have already disclosed that the governor graduated from the institution.
