At Indian State West Bengal, Public transport services are returning to normal after the lockdown. The number of metro rails are also increasing along with its movement frequency. 

However, there is a danger of a third wave of corona hitting the India at any moment. Of these, the rate of corona infection in Bengal has been pretty much the same for the last few days. State wise, slightly less positivity rate are being witnessed in 24 hours. However, the covid graph of Kolkata is getting upwards and people are getting affected.

According to a bulletin issued by the state health department on Friday, six people have been infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. In the city of Kolkata, 110 people were infected in one day. Inside West Bengal places like North 24 Parganas is in the second place in terms of infection. In one day, there were traces of the deadly virus in the bodies of 109 people. In South 24 Parganas, the number of infected people in one day is 45. In Howrah and Hooghly, 48 and 42 people were infected in 24 hours respectively.

But in West Bengal, the only hill station Darjeeling is in danger shape. Darjeeling, is one of the top most attractive tourist destinations in the state where 49 people tested positive for corona in last 24 hours. A district named Nadia, 45 people were infected in one day. As a result, the total number of corona cases in the state of West Bengal has increased to 15 lakh 50 thousand 84 people. Although the positivity rate has been reduced to 1.56 percent.

Today, 11 people died of the COVID-19, of this number, three and four died in Kolkata and North 24 Parganas respectively. So far, 17,463 people have died of COVID-19 in the state. Meanwhile, concerns are growing in places like Howrah and Hooghly where the presence of the new Delta Plus variant of the Corona is being observed. Doctors are repeatedly reminded to wear masks and maintain social distance.
