The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday evening, confirmed 169 new cases of coronavirus infection in Nigeria.
The health agency disclosed this in a statement via its Twitter handle.
This brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 66974 which includes 62,585 discharged cases and 1,169 deaths.
