The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that Nigeria recorded 72 new infections of COVID-19 and 1 death.
This was made known by NCDC on Monday via its Twitter page.
According to them, Lagos State, remains the hot spot of the virus in the country, recording the highest number of confirmed cases, with 51 new infections.
Ogun state recorded six new cases, FCT recorded four new cases and Kaduna recorded three new cases
While, Ondo, Niger and Plateau all recorded two new cases each and Katsina, Oyo States had one new case each.
NCDC, reported that 441 COVID-19 patients were discharged from isolation centres across the country.
