The Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State, Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa has warned that corps members found violating the COVID-19 rules would be sanctioned accordingly after facing the camp court.
Baderinwa gave the warning at the State Permanent Orientation camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu during the inducted of COVID-19/Sanitation Vanguards.
She charged the vanguards to be exemplary in adhering to COVID -19 protocols and maintaining cleanliness so as to be able to drive the message and deliver on the mandate given them as agents of change they are.
She emphasized that COVID-19 Vanguards have been empowered to make sure all corps members adhere strictly to COVID -19 protocols.
She said, “You’ve been empowered to make sure all corps members wear facemask properly, wash their hands at intervals, make use of alcohol based hand sanitizer and ensure safe distancing as to flatten the curve of the deadly disease.”
The Coordinator further admonished all PCMs to dispose their trash in the waste bins provided in order to maintain a dirt free environment.
