Nnewi community leader opens table water factory, celebrates new yam festival

The former President General (PG) of Obiofia community in Nnewichi-Nnewi, Chief Ibe Okonkwo(Ifeuto-Nnewi) yesterday opened a table water factory.

The occasion of opening ceremony of the table water factory was also used to thank God for blessing the family of the community leader with a child after a very long time.

He also used the occasion to celebrate the 2023 new yam festival in his usual manner.

Chief Ibe Okonkwo while speaking at the occasion thanked God for the privilege of having the opportunity to step into the business of table water production.

He said that he was inspired to go into table water production because of the observed poor quality of satchet and table water in circulation.

“If you know how terrible some of the operational environments where certain table and satchet water is produced, you will pity our people, it is my desire to uplift the standard and quality in the sector.” He said.

Chief Okonkwo said as a matter of fact that Torwaleen Table Water is produced in an hygenic environment and that everything in his is scientifically produced. 

“From the beginning to the end of production, we don’t use hand to do anything, we have highly sophisticated equipments that handle all the lines of production.” Chief Okonkwo said. 

Ifeuto-Nnewi shocked his guests when he said that apart from boosting employment opportunities for job seekers, proceeds from the venture would be invested in sports development in Nnewi while certain parentage from the proceeds would be invested on the downtrodden.

He said that he chose 22nd of August every year to celebrate the new yam festival in memory of father who died on the date.

Employment and sports development and servicing of less  privileged persons.

Engr Jacob Igbayande while speaking with journalists pointed out that Torwaleen Table Water factory has two important Ozone preservation and Reverse Osmosis equipments which are lacking in many satchet and table water factories.

He said that Natural Torwaleen Treated Drinking Water bottled by Torwaleen Trading Company is registered with all regulatory agencies.

The lawmaker representing Nnewi North Local Government Area in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon Augustine Ikeedoji, Chief Apostle Chukwunonye Onyejuluwa, 

(Mmadukaejiaka Nnewi), Obi Obiofia Nnewichi-Nnewi and other eminent personalities graced the occasion.
