In-line with his infrastructural Development goals in his hometown, Obosi, in Idemili North Local Government Area of Ànambra State, the lawmaker representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obinna Chidoka has completed another solar powered borehole in Uruowulu village, Obosi.
The newly constructed borehole brings the number of solar powered boreholes installed by the lawmaker in the community to three.
Recall that Hon Chidoka had earlier installed solar powered boreholes at Eke market, Ugamuma village and now Uruowulu Village.
The acclaimed five star legislator also reconstructed Dr Mike Ajaegbo Road, Little Wood Estate. He also constructed the All Saints by Little Wood road. Amesi Street road, Ugwuagba was also not left out.
Other projects attracted by the Obosi born lawmaker to his community include; the reconstruction, fencing and beautification of Ire Primary School. Medical supplies to Obosi Health Care Center.
He installed a solar mini grid at the Obosi town hall, installed solar powered street lights at strategic locations in the Obosi and also secured employment for many Obosi youths and have intervened largely in the area of economic empowerment through federal government business loans and grants, including empowerment items like tricycles, power generating set, industrial sewing machines among others.
Commissioning the new solar powered borehole on Sunday March 19, 2023, Hon. Chidoka said the project will serve as a point of contact for other life changing projects in the community.
The chairman of Uruowulu village, Nze Tempo Anowi while appreciating the legislator noted that he who gives water to a human being gave him life.
He said emphatically that Hon. Chidoka through his gesture has given the community life through the water project.
Nze Anowi prayed God to bless, protect and direct his footsteps.
